Big Thanks to Natalie from the WAGS…

The WAGS have expressed their deepest thanks and appreciation to Natalie for taking over the WAGS food with such creativity and enthusiasm.  Nat delivered 3 themed menus and the feedback was excellent.  Lots of time now to plan for the next season 🙂

Bunker Enhancement Programme Underway…

Jack and the greenkeeping team are now hard at work on a bunker enhancement programme - the 9th has already received the Jack treatment and they are working their way around the course.  So many positive comments coming in from visiting golfers.  Well done and thanks for all the hard work!!

Sad passing of Mike Newbury – funeral details…

Good afternoon All,

We have been asked to pass on this sad message.
Mike Newbury, a previous member and club captain, and who some of you will remember, sadly passed away recently and I repeat below his wife, Sue’s email.
As you will see if you wish to attend either/both the funeral and/or celebration, you need to advise Sue direct.
"I have now made arrangements for Mike’s funeral. They are as follows:
GreenAcres Chiltern, Potkiln Lane, Jordans, Beaconsfield, Bucks HP9 2XB at 3.00p.m on Friday 20th October. 
Followed by a funeral reception at Maidenhead Golf Club, Shoppenhangers Road, Maidenhead SL6 2PZ
 
I’m also arranging for a webcast for live coverage. If you’re unable to attend & would like the link please let me know
 
This will be a celebration of Mike's life so please no somber black outfits.
No flowers but donations to 
Thames Valley Hospice, Windsor Road, Maidenhead SL6 DN 
or via the funeral directors Funeralcare, 27 High Street, Maidenhead SL6 1JG
