Clubhouse Update from Sarah Tietjen 23.06.22

Dear members,

we have been so pleased with the feedback on all the new activities within the clubhouse

New Bean to Cup - Coffee Machine

The feedback on the coffee machine has been fantastic and thank you all so much for all of the positive comments during the trial.  We have now committed to purchase and the new machine will be delivered shortly, configured to our cup sizes and coffee preferences.

New Outside Furniture

Once again, this has been a real hit and we thank you all so much for all the positive comments.  We are continuing to improve the outside areas - watch this space.

New Function Space - Orangery

For those who haven't seen the new flooring and decor within the 'Orangery' (was the old buffet area) - it is proving to be  real hit!

New Beers

Please say hello to some new beer options we are trialling, including a new alcohol free range (Guinness, Speckled Hen and Doombar) and the amazing new pale ale -  'Ice-breaker'.

New Lithium Ion Buggy

Earlier in the summer we committed to purchasing a new Lithium Ion buggy to compliment our existing squad.  It is lighter, incredibly reliable and environmentally friendly.  Once again, great feedback from members on our push to be more environmentally friendly.

New Staff - Please give a warm PRGC welcome to Maddie and Luke

Delighted to introduce Maddie and Luke to the clubhouse team - please make a point of saying hi and introducing yourselves.  They are already making a great contribution already!

More to come...

We have more plans to improve your clubhouse experience across the summer / autumn and will keep you posted!

Looking forward to seeing you all up at the clubhouse

National Pro-Am Qualifier at PRGC on 23rd July 2022 – Contact Bruce

Dear members,

I hope this email finds everyone well and looking forward to the 2022 season. As part of this season, the club will be hosting a qualifying event to participate in the St James’s Place National Pro Am. Please see the information below (in red) that has links to the information pages and more importantly, the sign up or register link.

This is a prestigious event, organised by the PGA for all clubs in the country, and one I hope you will all enter and participate in. Its a handicap event, so absolutely anyone who enters can win it, just try and play to your handicap and lets see who emerges the winner and join me for a days trip to the fantastic Broadstone Gc to try and qualify for Turkey!

Please register NOW by using the links below and sign up with the PGA for this great event. Although it is some way off, please enter at your earliest convenience so that the PGA and the club can begin the process. Monthly reminders will be sent out, but if you are able to sign now, please do.

“Dear Membership,

Princes Risborough will be hosting a club qualifying round for the 2022 St. James’s Place National Pro-Am on 23rd July 2022. The winning member will join me at the Regional Qualifier at Broadstone gc in Dorset on the 13th September 2022, where we could qualify for an all-expenses paid trip to the Grand Final at Antalya Golf Club, Turkey in November 2022.

If you wish to play, please enter the club qualifying round as per any other club competition AND register here with The PGA where you will be asked to register your details and pay a £3 entry fee. The PGA will then email myself and the club with all entries that they have received a few days prior to the 23rd of July."

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact myself at anytime and I will do my very best to help.

Kind regards
Bruce
