A Big Thank You to Michelle and a Warm Welcome to Yazmin…

First of all, we would like to say bon voyage to Michelle Talbot as our assistant manager.  Michelle has been with us for over a year and worked incredibly well with Nick to take standards in the clubhouse to a new level. Michelle received a glowing reference from us and we wish her all the best in her future career and foreign travels.  To whichever employers land her in the future, we say without reservation... "good catch!".

Please also say hello to our new Assistant Manager, Yazmin Woodward.  Yazmin has been working as the catering supervisor at Alwoodley Golf Club,  in Leeds, since April 2014, so should hit the land running.

Yaz is a graduate from Leeds Trinity University with a BA Hons in Primary Physical Education and Sports Development and a triple distinction in Sport (Development, Coaching and Fitness). She also has a level 2 coaching certificate and coaches football with young kids on the weekend.  She blew us away at interview and will be a great addition to the team as we push for ever increasing levels of customer service.

So a big thank you to Michelle and a big hello to Yazmin!

New Lady Member – Anne Corcoran

Please welcome our latest lady member - 7 Day.  Anne is keen to hook up with the ladies but will only be in the country every 6 weeks or so.  Our Captain, Sue... will be in touch.  Please make sure to give Anne a smile and a wave!

Badger, Badger, Badger…

Badgers...

What do they eat

Badgers are omnivorous (eat anything) but 80% of their diet is earthworms! Right now they are after some little grubs to bulk up for the leaner wintry months to come and we are like a favourite restaurant.

How do we manage them?

This year we are trying something new to encourage our friends the badgers to find a new restaurant!

It won't stop them completely but it will definitely help!

October 22nd 2017, PRGC selected to host CBL Challenge Cup – Course Closed

Many of you will already know that PRGC hold the record as the course most often nominated to hold the National Nines Championships. Interestingly the CBL Challenge Cup is a championship which follows the same format.

We are very proud to have been selected to hold this prestigious championship at the club this year. This is a direct result of all the hard work put in by Barry Woledge as the event director and our very own John and Jake for presenting the course in such condition that we were worthy of being nominated. I also think that having a reputation for providing the best food and customer service makes a huge difference – so a massive thanks to Nick and the club house team.

The course will be closed on this day to host the event and we are keen to provide maximum notice for members and guests to minimise any inconvenience this may cause.

Thank you for your understanding and once again, congratulations to PRGC for being nominated to host the event!
