Bruce Loome is our Class 'A' PGA Golf Pro.  With over 20 years experience, his goal is to provide the highest possible standard of coaching. Consequently to knock between one and three shots off of your scorecard per hole.   At Princes Risborough Golf Club we pride ourselves on nurturing a 'learning culture'.  We have over 25 years of experience in encouraging our members and Guests to improve their game. The evidence is clear; the more you learn, the better you get and the more you enjoy this wonderful game.  Bruce has developed a great reputation around the world. Much as he has with our members by giving expert and personal "hands on" instruction. Especially because his coaching is tailored to your individual needs and goals.

Worked with David Leadbetter in Florida as a Short Game Specialist

Bruce's teaching background started in the late eighties with PGA teaching Professional Graham Cowley in Hampshire, England.  He then traveled with Justin Rose to Lake Nona in Florida to work with David Leadbetter.
From 2006, Bruce ran his own successful Golf Academy in Germany and became a short game specialist. Since then he has been fulfilling his passion for golf as both a Teaching Professional and as a player on the Seniors Tour.

Coaching the 'Smart Shots' to a better Scorecard

In 2016 he received an offer he just couldn't refuse.  He accepted the role to become Head Golf Pro at Princes Risborough Golf Club.  But this is no ordinary challenge! We have developed a new Academy Practice Area at the club totally dedicated to helping members to improve their short game. Remember that 70% of scorecard improvements are derived from improving your short game and that Professionals spend two thirds of their practice time on their short game!
