Hello Ladies
At long last some good news – all being well, the golf course will be open on Monday, 29 March!
The ladies have organised a block booking for Wednesday mornings at 8-minute intervals from 9.00 to 9.40 and until we are able to get back into the changing rooms, we have been asked by Sarah that you book your tee times through our Competitions Secretary, Jacqui Taylor, who will then confirm to Sarah the number of slots we need. This information will normally be required by Friday prior to play the following Wednesday.
However, due to the expected rush to play golf on the week we return please could you email me before Sunday 14th March if you wish to play in one of our reserved slots on Wednesday 31st March. Within our block booking, there will be 6 x 8-minute slots from 09.00 to 09.40 front nine and 11.00 to 11.40 on the back nine.
Even if you think you have booked through Reception at the Golf Club or on-line please could one person from your group send me an email with names etc so as I have the full numbers to give Sarah.

In April we will again be playing Medals and Stablefords and it is now very important that we bring ourselves in line with completion of cards as advised by the World Handicapping System (WHS). Players are encouraged to upload their competition scores via “How Did I Do” but cards also need to be completed by the player and the marker and submitted to our Handicap Secretary, Jill Peppett Attached are examples of correctly completed Medal and Stableford cards and we are asking all players to please follow the correct format. When checking the cards, if our Handicap Secretaries find they are incorrectly completed or there is a discrepancy between the cards and the HDID upload scores, then unfortunately the player will be disqualified from the competition. We are sure our Ladies will have no problem with this requirement, but we have been advised to point this out to you in order to avoid any disappointment in the future.
We would like to remind you that from March 29th, masks must be worn from car to course (and when returning to your car after the game). Masks must also be worn indoors. Social distancing also to be observed. Take away coffee and snacks will be available, plus toilet facilities (but not changing rooms).
We hope you have all seen the invites for the Singles, Summer Pairs and the Hutley Cup Competitions. Please let Jacqui know by Wednesday, 17th March, if you wish to play in all or any of these games. The more the merrier – they are great fun and a good way to get back on the course.

Wednesday, 4 August LADIES CHARITY DAY (originally 14th July)
Mixed matches on 11th and 25th April have been cancelled.
No decision has yet been taken regarding the Chiltern League this year, so all matches have still been provisionally included, but you will see from the calendar that we have lots more to look forward to in Summer 2021.
