New Player Card

Purpose:

We wish to develop a relationship with Greenfees and keep them posted on future events which we believe they will be interested eg club discounts and promotions (no advertising from outside sources, just information about discounts and promotions which relate to activities at the club)

In short, we want them to feel like "Day Members" not Greenfees.

What are we offering to achieve this? Holders of a player card get specific benefits:

  1. Discounts on green fees and on lessons with Bruce eg £3 per round discount on 18 hole weekday prices and £5 discount versus the normal 30 minute lesson prices
  2. Members Pricing for food and drink on the day they are playing (fair usage is 2 hours before and 2 hours after finishing and for the avoidance of doubt, not at functions unless the function is tied to them playing on the day)
  3. Seasonal promotions which are "Player Card Only"
  4. The opportunity to book over the phone with 7 days notice
  5. Express Sign Up - they now only need to record their player card number to sign in

What is the price of the Player Card?

It is £10 to purchase a Player Card or at launch - Free if you Like our Facebook page

The customer must also consent to the "spirit" of the card ie consent to receiving information on activities at the club.

What is the Player Card worth to the Player Card holder?

This depends on their usage. If they take a couple of golf lessons, that is worth £10 in discount. Discounts on certain green fees (eg weekday 18 holes) are up to £3 per round. Depending on what they drink they may save circa 30p a pint. We will be offering significant discounts on specific days at specific times of the year, just for Player Card holders eg throughout January we are offering a £9 unlimited holes offer on Thursdays - normal price for 18 holes on a weekday is £20 (saving £11). So the £10 represents great value.

Is it Mandatory to have a Player Card to play? or can I just play as a Green Fee?

This is a fantastic offer, but not everyone will want to take us up on it - so separate Green Fee prices are available.
