27 players competed in this year’s competition in memory of Mike Jefferson. The conditions were tough with a strong north wind blowing and only 3 players managed to beat par! The Winner was Graham Blackwell with a score of plus 5, which is an outstanding score given the conditions. Dean Herritty on plus 2 and Barry Woledge on plus 1 were the only other players to beat par. Graham is the first “Grumpy” ever to win this trophy-and it was Mike Jefferson who founded the Grumpies all those years ago.
