JUNE NEWSLETTER FROM YOUR LADIES COMMITTEE
Hello Ladies
Hopefully we are in for a lot of golf this month, but first of all most of us will be celebrating the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee in some way or another this coming bank holiday weekend. What an achievement and how truly blessed we are to have such a wonderful monarch!
The weather has not been too bad during May, with only one Wednesday competition rearranged to the following week. The results for May are:

We wish the ladies every success in their first match of the season on 1st June.
As you can see from the above, there are two very important dates in June.
Our Ladies Day on the 15th June is the most important date in our calendar.
There will be golf in the morning, halfway house after 9 holes, and buffet lunch for all ladies after 18 holes.
We hope you will all return to join us for dinner in the evening. Our social secretaries have already sent out details of payment and menu choices. There will be a raffle during the evening in aid of our chosen charity, The Stroke Unit at Wycombe Hospital, and we would ask you to be kind enough to donate a prize for the raffle.
Of course the other main event during the month is our Club Championship where our ladies play for the Ladies Champion Cup and the Ladies Handicap Champion Cup.
Details of golf on Ladies Day will be sent to you by our Competition Secretaries and Jill Peppett will be contacting you regarding the Barcilon Cup.
As you can see, a very full programme for June and we can also look forward to our Charity Day on Wednesday, 20th July.
