We have been challenged to find ways of making the Barcilon Club Champs more inclusive, fun and engaging - encouraging more people to enter and enjoy it.
We have been gathering feedback and will be offering the opportunity for broader discussion this Sunday at 2.30pm for anyone interested in contributing - apologies for short notice - and if can't attend please still ping us a note on your thoughts
The idea that seems to have garnered the most support for men is here We are also brainstorming with the ladies to achieve the same goal of increasing inclusivity, fun and participation.
Some of the issues we will be discussing are:
* Best net score is best net score - or should we have a divisional cut off - current suggestion for men is max 30 shots to win the net comp. Over 30 shots wins a prize and is a divisional winner but does not get their name on the board. Ladies TBC
* Should the men over 75s have the option of playing Gold - if so should they still be able to win the 'net' championship? If not should there be a separate 'Gold Champion' only eligible for over 75s? or for anyone that wants to enter the Gold Comp? Ladies TBC
Lots to talk about and kick around - can't think of a better time than after a good Sunday lunch 🙂
