Use of Tablet for Entering Scores

We will for security purposes, keep it behind the bar after use.

Thank you

Members Guests

Members Guest Procedures:

We have a number of members who like to play golf with visiting friends from outside of the area.  With the latest freedoms on people staying at each others homes, particularly during the summer holidays, we are enabling members to invite guests without requiring them to be e-Player Cards holders.

The rules are simple:

  1. Each member's guest can play the course at members guest discounted rates a maximum of 3 times
  2. Members' guests must sign in at reception with the member and be playing with the member signing them in ie within the same tee time
  3. Members' guests must have provided their name and email address
  4. Once the maximum 3 times has expired, all players must either hold a membership or e-Player Card to play at PRGC

Thank you

Booking Tee Times… including Block Bookings

The pre -booking of tee times, including back and front nines, for members and e-Player Card holders has proven to be a success and will continue as club policy.

Members wishing to block book tee times eg Friday Mixed Stableford, Toffs etc can continue to do so, so long as they continue to provide a managed list of names so that we know who is out on the course.

In simple terms, for us to know who is on the course at any point in time, all names will either need to be pre-booked (online or through Sarah) into Appointy (our tee booking system) or entered onto a pre-supplied list provided to Sarah, against block booking times.

Thank you 🙂

Fowler Bowl this weekend!!

This coming Friday and Saturday we will be playing The Fowler Bowl which is the only board competition dedicated to our higher handicappers and sponsored by our past double Captain and now club Ambassador, Brian Fowler. No doubt Jack Riley the current champion will be all out to retain his status for another year!
The event is a mixed stableford open to all ladies and gentlemen with a personal Handicap Index of 19 and higher.
NB John White will liaise with all the regular Friday Mixed stableford players regarding tee times and format for this Friday. All other qualifying members should make their own arrangements to play as you would for all other board competitions.
Brian will make the presentation to the winner at a later date but will be present Friday and Saturday to observe!!
Whilst on the subject of competitions, a polite reminder that it is the Seniors Monthly Medal this coming Tuesday 06 July. From October we will reposition the seniors monthly medal/stableford back to the second Tuesday of the month.
Enjoy

Over £1000 raised for Macmillan Nurses at PRGC!! …

On Sunday 20th June, they took on the Longest Day Golf Challenge and were heroes for the day.  A massive thanks to Phil, Stacey, Andy and Simon!!

At 0500 hours in the morning they started their challenge to complete 72 holes of golf in one day and it couldn’t have gone much better. The rain held off and 12 hours and 8 minutes later they nailed the final hole and in doing so raised £1085.62p!!

"Thank you all. A very special thank you to Princes Risborough Golf Club for hosting the event and to the members who allowed us to play through. A very special thank you to Sarah and the clubhouse team and Trisha Harwood (chef) for looking after us throughout the day, you were absolutely fantastic. Good luck to those competing today wherever you are. Phil and the team."
