Promotion Purpose:
To honour people who have served or are still serving in our armed forces as part of our remembrance day tribute.
How it works:
Option 1
For 100 days (over 100 yrs since the end of WWI) any service person (RAF, Navy or Army) can buy a round of golf for just £11 (ties in with timing of Armistice Day 11am on 11th November, 2018). Players must first register interest via the website contact us and provide their service number. Offer ends of February 19th, 2020.
Once you have confirmed their ID - please enter into the till as an Armed Forces green fee price of £11
NB At reception, if they are no longer serving and no longer have service ID cards - so long as they can evidence that they have received a confirmation email from us - they should be allowed to play for the £11 fee.
Option 2
Any wife, girlfriend, husband, boyfriend or partner of an active service person can receive coffee or tea on a Buy 1 get 1 Free basis until February 19th, 2020. The code word to trigger the offer is "Thank you Wing Commander". The reason being that a Wing Commander on a recent Golf Society day informed us of the importance of also Remembering the families waiting anxiously at home for their loved ones to return.
