Summer Pairs: this annual board competition will take place this coming Friday and Saturday 17th and 18th August. This is a 4BBB stableford pairs competition played off white tees to 90% of club handicap. Find a partner, play with another competing pair or a marker and as usual put your money and completed cards in the box.
RyderHeim Cup: our tribute to the Ryder and Solheim Cups will now take place on Saturday 29th September which is the middle day of the Ryder Cup in Versailles. Format will be teams of 4, playing 9 holes of foursomes, 9 of 4BBB pairs and 9 holes of singles so 27 holes overall. Play will be off yellow tees, it will be stableford scoring and all scores count. This will be a shot gun start and will include a ploughmans lunch between the 9th and 10th hole of the day and a light buffet with presentations to conclude. A signing up sheet will go on the board shortly. Put the date in your diary, get your teams organised and sign up ASAP as space is limited. This is always a fun day which we have brought back on to the agenda after popular demand and is open to ALL members and guests with a CONGU handicap.
