Hello Ladies
Well, the day did finally arrive, and we hope you have all enjoyed your first week back on the course. Long may it continue.
Ladies who put their names down for The Hutley Cup, Singles and Summer Pairs should now have received copies of the relevant draw with first round details. Please ensure you pay before you play and check your handicap on the day.
A reminder for the April Medal off Red Tees on Wednesday 7 April, please ensure Jacqui knows that you wish to play by Thursday 1 April.
Any ladies wishing to play the April Medal over the weekend 3-4 April may be interested to know that there is a Saturday Ladies Whatsapp group (co-ordinator Jill Peppett) that have 2 regular tee times of 10.00 and 10.10am. Of course, if you wish to play any other time over the weekend please book online or with Sarah at the Clubhouse. If you book independently please send Jill Peppett, Beryl Austin and Jacqui Taylor a note so as your scores are included in the competition. Please also remember to pay your £3 to PRGC Ladies, bank account sort code 30-96-26, account number 38454668.
The Spring Stableford is the weekend of 17-18 April and Wednesday 21 April. This competition is off the Yellow Tees and you are now able to play both weekend and mid-week. Jacqui will send an invitation nearer the time.
The informal games this month will be:
- 14 April Fewest Putts
- 28 April Bonus Holes
Details of these events will be emailed to you shortly and a reply indicating you wish to play on 14 April is required by 7 April. Sue Pomeroy and her helpers (Melinda, Valerie and Arlinda) will be organising the informal games this year. Any queries about the informal games should be sent to Sue Pomeroy at suepmry@gmail.com.
Unfortunately, the decision was finally taken to cancel the Ladies Chiltern League this year and the matches have now been taken off our Fixture List. Jean has managed to book another friendly match for us and is in the process of trying to arrange some more friendly fixtures, but at the moment clubs do not seem willing to commit. We will keep you informed.
