Membership Approval
The General Manager reserves the right to veto any new application or renewal. This discretion will never be exercised on the basis of prejudice, in full alignment with England Golf’s inclusivity and equality standards.
Once an application or renewal is approved and payment received, the member will:
- Be entitled to all privileges of membership
- Be deemed to have accepted the Members’ Code of Conduct
- Be eligible to volunteer for club committees
Grounds for Veto - New or Renewal Applications (or Playing as a Green Fee or Members Guest)
The Club reserves the right to refuse or not renew membership at its absolute discretion, provided any decision is made in good faith, for legitimate club management reasons. This discretion must be exercised consistently with the Club’s equality and safeguarding policies and is not subject to appeal under the Disciplinary Regulations. The club also reserves the right to refuse access to the course or clubhouse for green fee paying guests and members guests at its discretion , provided any decision is made in good faith, for legitimate club management reasons. For the avoidance of doubt, a management veto on an individual's membership or renewal application will automatically apply also to that individual's request to play the course as a green fee or members guest.
